| Details | This solo exhibition features the work of Seiichiro Maki, who creates pieces incorporating geometric shapes and visual phenomena, drawing on his background in graphic design. In "DOTSTARS," he uses the optical illusion effect of white dots appearing to shine black to represent the "glow of stars," expressing the miraculous sights that one might encounter by chance on Earth. The thousands of squares and dots that make up the work are each hand-painted using a small flat brush. Other works scheduled to be exhibited include "DOTSTARS -12th dreams-," "Japonism," and "DOTHUMAN -Idol-." |
