| Details | Music was an indispensable part of Edo culture, from the geisha houses of Yoshiwara to the theaters of the Saruwaka Sanza. Enjoy the sounds and sophistication of Edo, as heard through the shamisen, flute, taiko drum, and kotsuzumi hand drum, which were beloved by the people of that time. |

Studied from a young age under his father, the 10th generation Mochizuki Tazaemon, the head of the Mochizuki school of Kabuki Hayashi, which has continued for 250 years. He is actively engaged in performances, lectures, and promotional activities both domestically, including with the "Ohayashi no Kai" in Taito Ward, and internationally, including in the United States, Germany, and Austria (participated in the 30th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Taito Ward and Vienna's 1st District in 2019). |
