| Details | During the "Detour" solo exhibition by Yoka Morooka, we will be holding a string art workshop. Enjoy the process of gradually revealing patterns as you wrap thread around nails hammered into a board, with colors and lines overlapping. Even with the same design, the impression of the artwork will vary depending on the colors and combinations of threads you choose. This is a small-group workshop suitable for beginners. You can take your finished artwork home with you. 【Recommended for】 ・Those experiencing string art for the first time ・Those who want to enjoy color combinations ・Those who want to spend time creating slowly with their hands ・Those who want to incorporate their own creations into their lives ・Those who want to enjoy crafting with their children 【Three String Art Designs to Choose From】 In the workshop, you can choose your favorite design from three designs provided on the day. After choosing your design, you will complete your artwork by combining your preferred threads, following the instructor's instructions and support. Please see the sample works below for each design and the finished image. *Depending on material availability and the situation on the day, your preferred design may not be available. *Designs and thread colors may change without notice. [Workshop Contents] You will create your artwork by attaching thread to nails that have been pre-drilled onto a board in a predetermined order. The instructor will explain the process and support each participant's work. All materials, including the pre-drilled board, thread, and tools used for creation, will be provided. You can take your completed artwork home with you on the same day. |
