DetailsThis is a small-group netsuke-making experience led by netsuke artist Kabu Sekine.

Using deer antler as the material, you will experience the finishing stages of netsuke making, including carving, shaping, and polishing.

The motifs are the gourd, a beloved symbol of good fortune, and an adorable cat. While feeling the wit and playfulness of Edo in these small forms, you will create your own unique netsuke. You can take your finished work home with you.
